Diaper Review ~ Huggies Little Movers Diapers

As you have probably seen from other product review posts in the past, I am a Influenster.  I was lucky enough to be chosen by #Influenster for their new Huggies campaign, #IChooseHuggies which involves trying Huggies Little Movers Diapers.

Huggies claims that the Huggies Little Movers Diapers are designed specifically for the way your baby moves.  The Huggies new Moving Baby System provides outstanding grip, fit and wetness protection so our little ones are few to move comfortably.  These diapers also have a DryTouch Liner, Contoured Shape and my favorite, the Double Grip Strips.  One of my biggest issues with diapers are that the grips never stick but these Double Grip Strips keep everything in place until it’s time to be changed.  However, of all these great features, my most favorite is that they will protect for up to 12 hours.  What a great way to have a peaceful night!

I have tried all of the 12 Huggies diapers that I received on my twin boys.  We definitely put these Huggies Little Movers Diapers to the test with all the playing, crawling and everything in between.  I was pleased that their skin stayed dry throughout and there were no leaks.

In conclusion of trying the Huggies Little Movers Diapers, they did absolutely everything that a person could ask for in a diaper.  I definitely #IChooseHuggies and would highly recommend that you do the same.

Thanks, Influenster

Review ~ The Super Sizer Mascara by CoverGirl

I am so grateful that I was picked by BzzAgent to try the new Super Sizer Mascara by CoverGirl.  If you don’t know what BzzAgent is all about, it’s the leading social marketing company. What's that mean to you? We put products in the hands of hundreds of thousands of real consumers and help them share their opinions about them with friends and family via reviews, Facebook posts, photos and videos, blog posts and more.

This new CoverGirl product claims to be 400% more volume in just a twirl, perfect the method, perfect your eyelashes and just to forget any glue with false lashes, just load it on and twirl it up.  CoverGirl also claims that their newest mascara provides corner-to-corner volume for full, fanned out lashes.  So the question is, are they all talk or does this new mascara deliver?

I was already a bit hesitant when I opened up the CoverGirl Super Sizer Mascara and saw the applicator/brush for the product.  The brush was plastic and I’m use to bristles or fibers, for a lack of a better term.  I had to dip the brush in the tube quite a few times before it covered properly but after things got going, everything went well.  After applying two coats (I waited about 30 seconds between applications) the results were amazing.  My lashes were definitely longer and noticeably thicker.  Another thing that is noteworthy is the length of the wand.  It’s a bit shorter so it became easier to get into those little corners.

I would also recommend the new CoverGirl Super Sizer Mascara because of how great my lashes looked after but I it didn’t make my lashes look artificial either, as if they were loaded with gunk.  My lashes had a wispy, natural feeling when wearing it.  Another huge bonus was it didn’t run.  I find it to be a big issue for the drug store brands but I’ve tested it in various types of weather and situations with no issue.

In conclusion, I would recommend the CoverGirl Super Sizer Mascara as a great drug store, low cost mascara to any of you.  Have I found a replacement for my mascara completely, I’m still not sure.  It is a great product, however, I still notice a difference between my beauty counter mascara that I pay a little more for.  You definitely get more than your monies worth with the CoverGirl Super Sizer Mascara and the results are impressive.

Secret® Clear Gel Fights the Test of Time

Once again, I’ve been lucky enough to have the opportunity to try Secret® Clear Gel through BzzAgent

If you don’t know what BzzAgent is all about, it’s the leading social marketing company. What's that mean to you? We put products in the hands of hundreds of thousands of real consumers and help them share their opinions about them with friends and family via reviews, Facebook posts, photos and videos, blog posts and more.

For quite a few weeks now, I’ve been experiencing Secret® Clear Gel .  This wonder product allows me to tackle everything without the concern of odor or wetness.  For my rough and high stress days, it proved to stand strong throughout.  I loved how it was actually clear and didn’t leave any sort of white marks or residue on my clothes.  I was a little skeptical at first as I find gel deodorants using take so long to dry but it dried instantly.  I always have this fear too that I smell and my deodorant isn't working properly but I'm confident that after testing Secret® Clear Gel it will protect for up to 48 hours!

I am completely sold on Secret® Clear Gel and can say for certain that this is now my new deodorant!

Clairol® Nice ‘N Easy Root Touch-Up Passes my Test

Hooray!  Again, I’ve been picked, by BzzAgent, to check out a new product.  This time I’m trying the Clairol® Nice‘N Easy Root Touch-Up

By the way, if you don’t know what BzzAgent is all about, it’s the leading social marketing company.  What's that mean to you?  They put products in the hands of hundreds of thousands of real consumers and help them share their opinions about them with friends and family via reviews, Facebook posts, photos and videos, blog posts and more.

I’m always nervous to try an in-home hair colour product, as I’ve had a few bad experiences in the past.  However, I took the plunged and tried it anyways.  Here’s a before picture of my hair:

Clairol® Nice ‘N Easy Root Touch-Up claims that it will boost your colour and cover 100% of grays, with results lasting up to three weeks - plenty of time to tide you over ‘till your next colour treatment.  With 21 shades, there’s always a perfect match for your lovely locks.  And at a suggested retail price of only $8, you can save for your next splurge at the stylist’s

The application of the touch-up was so easy.  It was great not to have to ask my husband to help me out.  The cream was thicker than others which I found allowed for a more precise application.  The colour matched my hair perfectly, without looking like colour was just painted on to my head.  I left the Clairol® Nice ‘N Easy RootTouch-Up on for the full 12-15 minutes because my grays always put up a fight.  I was extremely impressed with the outcome.  One thing I noticed that isn’t always the case with other products, is there was enough to cover all my hair.  Especially when my hair was longer, sometimes I would have to buy two packages but Clairol® Nice ‘NEasy gives you enough to cover lots of hair!

One huge bonus which I think doesn’t happen a lot with home colour products, is it covered my grey hair perfectly and afterwards, it didn’t give the effect that even though my hair was coloured, it was still grey underneath.  This in itself has me sold on Clairol® Nice ‘N Easy and I would highly, highly recommend this to everyone.

Here’s an after picture of how great my hair looks now!

In conclusion, please try Clairol® Nice ‘N Easy RootTouch-Up for yourself.  I have no doubt that you will be pleased with the little amount of money you spend.

Product Review ~ imPress Manicure

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure

As you have probably seen from other product review posts in the past, I am a InfluensterInfluenster has recently given me the opportunity to try out and review Broadway imPress Manicure.

In the mail from Influenster, I received 24 imPress Manicure Press-on Nail VoxBox in two designs.  These nails are so easy to apply and take off.  As a bonus, they only take a few minutes too!  After 10 days of wearing them, they still look brand new.  I was very excited to see that the nails came in various sizes so if you don’t have the “normal” size hands/nails than you wouldn’t need to be concerned.  One things that really stuck out was that these nails weren’t very long which as a personal preference, I’m fine with but for some, it may be too short.  Another issue that was alright to me but might not be for others is the imPress Manicure press-on nails are quite thick which took a little bit of getting use to when typing.

In summary, I was quite impressed with this at home press-on nails.  I would highly recommend trying #imPressManicure and look forward to trying out new designs.

Sesame Dressing Recipe

Here’s a great Japanese restaurant in the city I live in and I absolutely love the sesame sauce that they serve with the steak and rice.  I’ve been on the lookout for a comparative, yet easy, recipe and this is the closest that I’ve come.  It’s sooo good and just in time for BBQ and salad season!

-   1 Tbsp of rice wine vinegar
-   1 Tbsp of sesame oil
-   1 Tbsp of sugar

-   1/4 cup of vegetable oil

What You Will Need to do:
Place all the ingredients into a blender and mix well.  Enjoy!
